ˇ§The Heart of the Loudspeakerˇ¨
Sound is created when a magnetic field between the yoke and the washer sparks a reaction with the atternating field formed by the voice coil. It is the movement of the voice coil back and forth that creates acoustical energy, or what we commonly know as sound. The combination of the washer, yoke and magnet is what we refer to as "the heart of the loundspeaker".
